The New London Power Squadron, along with our neighboring squadrons in our District, participate in a variety of activities throughout the year. During boating season we have cruises and rendezvous, a sail race, a poker run, picnics, flare demos and more. Our planned week long cruise for July 2009 will take us to Greenport, Montauk and Block Island.
Our members are involved with local marinas and yacht clubs promoting our courses and programs. We participate with community efforts such as the cooperative charting program where our members assist NOAA in keeping our nautical charts up to date. During the off season we continue to get together for educational programs and meetings and also just to have fun! We have a passion for boating!
