New London Power Squadron

Our Members come from diverse backgrounds.  They become members, and remain members, for a variety of reasons.

Some of our members join to take advantage of the superior boating education programs and classes we offer...while other members couldn't care less if they ever take another boating class.

Some of our members enjoy sharing their knowledge in the classroom as teachers or assistants. Most of our programs for the public are a team taught so you can ease your way into the classroom if that interests you.
 
Some of our members are very active in meetings and squadron management while others have no interest in that sort of thing.

Some members enjoy the social activities of the squadron and of the district both on and off the water. There is something going on all year long.

Some of our members perform Vessel Safety Exams or participate in the Cooperative Charting Program that helps the Government keep our charts up to date.

We even have folks that just join to get the discounts that USPS members enjoy. From a financial perspective, if you are an active boater, the savings outweighs the annual dues.

One thing we all have in common, is a belief in safe and responsible boating.
